We offer 3D Scanning services utilizing a variety of Laser Scanners and portable Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) .
A variety of specialised equipment and close to 20 years of experience means we have the capability to handle even the most demanding measurement tasks.
Our portable equipment enables scanning to be performed on-site or from our Melbourne facility.
Reverse Engineering
Utilizing our accurate, high definition laser scan point cloud data and specialised reverse engineering software package, we can re-create an accurate CAD model of your sample part that captures the original design intent.
The fully surfaced, solid model can be read into and easily modified by a conventional CAD or CAM package.
Optionally, for customer’s who are able to perform CAD modeling from scan data, we can just supply triangle based models ( STL) or point cloud.

CMM Inspection Reports – GD&T – Coordinate Measurement
We have the capability of direct part to CAD comparison where an existing 3D CAD model of the part exists. Alternately, we can measure to a set of 2D working (detail) drawings.
Surface and Geometric inspection can be carried out using a touch probe or from the laser unit to give a more complete coverage of the article under inspection where required.
Experience with comprehension of working drawings GD&T also forms part of our skill set.
